Only Two Choices

Daily writing prompt
Do you believe in fate/destiny?

Yes I believe in fate. The truth is, we all have a fate, and that is where we will spend eternity. This life is just a temporary time of choosing. We are created beings experiencing life with a final destination already worked into it.

I believe in God, and that He created everything. He is a personal being that created us for a purpose.

The first thing we must do is believe that there is such a thing as a God and that He created the universe and everything in it.

We can look out into the world and see clues to a creator. For example, the synergy in nature points to God. How the climate, vegetation, and animals all work together for earth to be in existence.

We can also look at the perfect placement of the sun, moon, and earth in order for life to be possible on earth. There is many more examples of divine revelation in the world.

With so many “religions” in the world, it can be very difficult to know which is the one true path. My identity is in Jesus Christ. I believe in the God of Abraham, Jacob, and Issac. The Holy Trinity: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.

I came to that conclusion for several reasons. To maintain transparency, I grew up knowing about Christianity being an American, and also, I had a uncle that is a pastor in a Baptist church. No doubt did these factors play a curcial role in my blossoming faith.

Now, I didn’t just blindly believe because I am an American with a pastor uncle, but I also did research into these other religions. I won’t go into all the reasons that led me to Christ, but I came away from that journey knowing when Jesus said; I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me, that it was the truth.

Lastly on why I believe Christianity is the only true way that leads you to God, is I had a encounter with God, and experienced a miracle. I had a alcohol addiction that drove me to suicidal conditions, and He rescued me and took away that addiction.

In the end of our lives we face a fate and will go to heaven or hell. Christ is the way to eternal life; death in unbelief leads us to hell. That is the destiny for us all. I urge you to choose wisely.

John 3:16

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
